Abstract: Justice in the inheritance shown by the Qur'an positions men more than twice that of women. In addition, the principle of justice in Islamic inheritance law implies a balance between the rights obtained and inheritance with the obligations or burdens of life that must be borne or fulfilled among the heirs. Therefore, justice in inheritance does not mean equally sharing of inheritance to all heirs, but in favour of the truth as outlined by the Qur'an. If men get more from women, this is related to men's greater responsibility than women to finance their households. Differences based on the size of the burden and responsibility of men and women based on the law of the causality of rewards and responsibilities does not contain an element of discrimination. The specified women's agency is in balance with their obligations. Because in Islam, women are basically freed from taking on family economic responsibilities. Therefore, if a person receives a high share of an inheritance, it means that it is a manifestation of the level of obligation, which is a concept of sociological difference in Islamic societies.
