Abstract: In this millennial era, Halal products have become a global phenomenon not only related to religion. but also becomes the halal lifestyle of choice for non-Muslims. Halal labels have become a symbol for quality, safe, clean, nutritious and verified products. Halal product is "EMERGING MARKET" which is interesting for Muslims & Non-Muslims. Therefore, the Indonesian parliament has made the law halal product assurance No. 33 the year 2014. The main core of the law is to change halal certification which was voluntary to mandatory. The law will protect all Indonesians from products that do not meet the requirements or are not halalanthoyyiban. Mandatory halal certification will begin on October 17, 2019, to succeed the implementation of the law, the obligations of the government and institutions engaged in halal or Muslim scholars who understand about this. With the enactment of this law, there is a big opportunity for Indonesian products to be accepted by many countries around the world
