Abstract: The purpose of the present study was to examine the effect of Structured Problem Posing Learning Approach on students’ mathematical creative thinking skills. This research was conducted at a Muhammadiyah Junior High School, South Tangerang. The method used was quasi-experimental method with randomized control group posttest only. The samples were 68 students in seventh grade, 33 for experimental group and 35 controlled group and they were chosen through cluster random sampling technique. The data collecting technique was used test. The result of this research shows that students’ mathematical creative thinking skills who were taught by Structured Problem Posing Learning Approach is higher than students who were taught by conventional approach. Mathematical creative thinking skills, covers: elaboration, flexibility, and originality. Referring to the research result, we found that the use of Structured Problem Posing Learning Approach more effective to enhance the students’ mathematical creative thinking skills compared to conventional approach.
