Abstract: The chapter discusses and analyses Islamist issues presented by Sabili magazine in post-New Order Indonesia from 1998 to 2004. This study is mainy inspred by the resurgence of Islamism as the consequence of political liberalization gained after the fall of Soeharto in May 1998. It reveals that Sabili constitutes as one of the Islamisr media which played important role in post-reform era. Three characteristics of Sabili are found in this study: first, literal sharia oriented; second, being critical against Jews and Christians; Third, being critical against USA.
