Abstract: Adequate education will ensure the continuity and reliability of human life. Educated people have the power of thought, reason and intelligence more advanced enabling them to overcome the problems that arise in their lives better. The ability to critical thinking and creative thinking mathematic is ability think that needs to growing developed. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the application of K13 in mathematics learning of the ability to critical thinking and creative thinking mathematic at MTsN students in Jakarta. Samples were students grade 9 as many as 173 people who came to 5 MTsN in Jakarta. The method in this research is descriptive method, with a descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1). Learning math is done by teachers are in accordance with the standards learning process are apply scientific approach phases invitation to observe, question, gather information, reasoning and communicating; (2) Obstacles in the implementation of K13 the problems of teachers knowledge about K13, teachers book and students book are not yet available in hard copy as well as still a lot of mistakes the content and technical errors, students have not been used to establish the concept of independent and assessment methods are complex, so difficult for teachers; (3) The ability of critical thinking and creative thinking mathematic student atMTsN to apply K13 is low.
