|Abstract:||This study aimed to determine the effect of Integrated Reading and Writing Task-based Problem Based Learning to Students at the Science Literacy Concept of Biodiversity. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 10 South Tangerang in the academic year 2015/2016 with a quasi-experimental method that uses a pretest-posttest control group design. The samples in this study using simple random sampling technique. Samples were students of class X-2 totaling 39 people as classroom control and class X-7 of 40 people as a class experiment. Instruments used in the form of 11 questions about the description and IRWT based PBL. Analysis is two groups of data using the t test at the 0.05 significance level of 5.62 was obtained t hit and t table is 1.99. This shows a significant influence Integrated Reading and Writing Award Task Problem Based Learning based on the scientific literacy of students to the concept of biodiversity.|
